Naked GoPro Assembly Manual
Tools Needed:
- Soldering iron
- Solder
- M2 screwdriver
- Tweezers

Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Scan QR code
Scan the QR code to enable power used by the Lipo Battery (2s - 6s). You need GoPro Labs installed the read the QR codes.
1. Secure the Sensor
Screw in the M1.4 x 4mm screws into the three holes to secure the sensor in place.
2. Attach the Lens Protector
Place the lens protector onto the case to protect the lens during assembly.
3. Install the Front Screen
Slide the front screen into the case and gently push it into position. Ensure the flat cable is positioned underneath the screw holder.
4. Install the Motherboard
Insert the motherboard into the case and secure it using the provided screws. IMPORTANT: Use the M1.4 x 3mm screw (flat tip) in the bottom-right corner to avoid piercing the flat cable.
5. Connect the Flat Cables
Connect the flat cable of the sensor, the front screen, and the cable from the NamelessRC BEC Module to the motherboard.
6. Attach the BEC Board
Connect the flat cable to the BEC board. Stick the BEC board on top of the SD card reader using the 3M double-sided tape.
7. Install the Fan
Thread the fan cable through the small hole in the case, secure the fan using nylon screws and nuts, and ensure the sticker side faces inward. Solder the black and red cable to the pads of the BEC board
8. Finalize the Assembly
Secure the case with the final four screws (M1.7 x 10mm). Your Naked GoPro is now fully assembled and ready to capture amazing footage.

2. Connecting Naked GoPro to Your Phone
If you want to connect your Naked GoPro to your phone using the Quik app, follow these steps: (Must have GoPro Labs installed)
- Turn on Bluetooth on your phone.
- Open the GoPro Quik App on your phone and be ready to click on the search/add/connect to GoPro icon.
- Keep your GoPro pointing at the QR Code below at the optimal distance for recognition until the next step.
- Press the MODE button 3 times.
- On the GoPro APP, click on the search/add/connect to a GoPro icon. That’s it!
3. Using the QR Control App
You can also use an app called 'QR Control' to configure settings through QR codes.

Pros:
- The camera is great... It's a GoPro! The features are a good touch with the built in fan and capability to swap out power cords so it can be charged by the balance port on a 4S or 6S battery.
Cons/things to consider:
- The built in mount is very weak. I had one rough landing onto a plastic floor and it snapped off. I would recommend only using the insert mount.
- The camera requires an upgraded microSD card. It needs to be at least an A2. (Ex. SanDisk Extreme Pro, about $70 onAmazon)
The build quality is seriously top-tier - easily on the level of (or even better than) big brands. Everything feels super well thought out, clean, and solid. You can tell a lot of care went into this.
What really stood out to me was the support. I had some issues during the ordering process because of my bank, and the seller handled it perfectly - quick, helpful, and professional.
After receiving the camera, I also had trouble connecting it to my phone (my mistake 😅). I reached out directly via email and got a super fast reply. Turns out I just needed to scan a QR code that I completely missed inside the packaging. Problem solved instantly.
